I've always collected all sorts of things over my lifetime; My living room was compared to a museum more than once! I am forever trying to see things in a different context, trying to imagine what something could turn into. Growing up, I used to collect bits of metal and objects I found in alleys and on sidewalks and glue gun them together into faces. My mother thought I was crazy for collecting these "pieces of trash" until I showed her what I was making. Now she has some of those creations hanging in her kitchen.
I am a visual artist and a collector. Selling collectibles and vintage items gives me an excuse to go to auctions and travel looking for cool items to sell and to use in my artwork. Well, let’s face it, and to also to grace my home and hopefully yours as well! I love researching the history of things. What they are. How they were used. How items and usage changes.
